Trump Hits a NEW LOW on Ukraine—And Lavrov Piles On
Thank You for Standing With Ukraine
https://ukrainesupportbridge.com/
President Zelenskyy reports progress in talks with U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff—then Donald Trump renews his pressure on Ukraine to make a deal, while Russia's Sergey Lavrov declares that Moscow will make no political concessions. Washington is demanding compromise from Ukraine, but what exactly is Russia being asked to give up?
Zelenskyy says Starlink services are expected to be restored within two days, U.S.-Ukraine intelligence sharing regarding ballistic missile launches has resumed, and Ukraine has been promised security guarantees comparable to NATO's Article 5. Greg Terry examines these developments alongside Vice President JD Vance's statements about Ukraine's NATO future, reports of rising public confidence in Zelenskyy, and Russia's reported attack on the Institute of Cardiology in Kyiv.
Meanwhile, Trump describes Russia as steadily advancing, insists Ukraine must accept a deal, and claims America has received nothing in return for supporting Ukraine. Greg challenges those statements, examines Zelenskyy's concerns about delays involving Patriot missiles already paid for through a NATO initiative, and discusses Witkoff's planned diplomatic mission to Moscow. The contrast is extraordinary: Trump presses Ukraine toward concessions while Lavrov openly rejects political concessions from Russia.
Lavrov goes further, dismissing a return to the G8 and declaring that Russia will not accept a Western-dominated international order. Greg examines the widening disconnect between Washington's peace efforts, Moscow's declared position, and Ukraine's fight for survival. With Ukrainian civilians continuing to suffer from Russian attacks, the central question remains: Is Washington negotiating a just peace or pressuring the country that was invaded?
