Trump said his relationship with Kim Jong Un remains “very good,” criticized U.S.–South Korean military exercises, and said he instructed Pete Hegseth to substantially reduce those exercises. I explain why I believe this sends a deeply troubling message to America’s ally South Korea—and why it matters for Ukraine as North Korea continues supporting Russia’s war.

The Biden administration’s “goal was to get these kids through quickly. I think the original nature of it was probably coming from Joe Biden, who wanted to avoid the kids in cages.

“You know, the 2019 Trump thing and everything else.

“I think they wanted to avoid the optics. Yeah. And they were just like, "Get these kids to the system. I don't give a shit [how it happens]."

Federal agencies had information that could have identified potentially dangerous sponsors for migrant children, but bureaucratic divisions and inadequate follow-through prevented that information from being effectively used, a former Department of Homeland Security intelligence analyst whistleblower tells Hailey Gomez, Daily Signal California Investigative Reporter.

Separately, the Health and Human Services inspector general documented significant shortcomings in sponsor screening and post-release follow-up during the 2021 Biden administration migrant surge, including case files lacking documentation that required safety checks had occurred.
