Tensions across the Middle East have reached a critical tipping point today as five major military and diplomatic shifts unfold simultaneously this weekend along with anticipated strikes. First, U.S. forces are positioned to launch a new wave of targeted airstrikes all across Iran, zeroing in on key IRGC bases, personnel, missile facilities, and infrastructure over the entire country which may include power plants. Second, the naval standoff in the Strait of Hormuz continues to escalate as U.S. forces enforce a tight maritime blockade while Iranian units attempt to intercept commercial oil tankers. Third, IRGC-backed proxy groups in Iraq and Syria are preparing retaliatory drone and missile attacks against coalition positions. Fourth, integrated air defense networks in Israel, Jordan, and regional allies remain on red alert to neutralize incoming strikes. Finally, backchannel diplomatic talks are proceeding in Pakistan and Oman in an effort to broker de-escalation terms. Behind these escalating shocks, economic pressure continues to mount as the Iranian People push for freedom and change. Join us live for this breaking A2 Analysis as we break down all five weekend developments and more for what happens next for Iran.

President Donald Trump has officially cancelled the controversial livestream expected to show the US Army firing squad execution of Nidal Hassan, the man convicted the 2009 attack on Fort Hood, Texas that killed 13 people and wounded more than 30 others.

Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth had announced the plans for a livestream after President Trump approved his recommendation of the method of execution, the US Army firing squad.

Trump wrote Thursday on Truth Social, in part: "I think streaming the execution for all to see might have been a strong deterrent for the World to witness how America deals with Terrorists and SCUM like Hasan but, many very good and well meaning people would rather not watch him die, through streaming, or through any other visual device. He will die, as scheduled, by firing squad, but this event will not be streamed. That said, the execution may be viewed in person by the immediate families of the victims, if they so choose. They deserve to witness JUSTICE!"

Four Democratic candidates vying to represent Connecticut’s 1st Congressional District faced off in a debate Tuesday.

The global situation just escalated fast — Ukraine is striking Russia’s Shadow Fleet, Russia is targeting Ukrainian fuel infrastructure, and the Patriot question is still not solved.

In this update, I break down Zelenskyy’s comments on the PAC-3 shortage and Ukraine’s push for a European anti-ballistic defense system, Peskov’s response from the Kremlin, and why Russia is framing Patriot production and air defense support as NATO activity on Ukrainian territory.

We also look at Russia’s growing attacks on Ukrainian gas stations, the geography behind the fuel pressure campaign, Ukraine’s ballistic missile testing, Peter Pavel’s warning about a critical two-month window, and the latest reports on Shadow Fleet strikes and a possible renewed threat against Kyiv.

This is a serious moment for Ukraine, Europe, NATO, and the United States — and the next few weeks could shape the battlefield in a major way.

Like, comment, subscribe, and share this update if you want clear, fact-grounded Ukraine coverage without Kremlin spin.

Ladies and gentlemen, we made the decision to release today’s episode in three sections. We felt each part of the conversation was especially important, and breaking it up gives everyone a chance to take in the full picture. We know our audience is busy and hardworking, so we hope this makes it a little easier to watch, listen, and take it all in.

Victor Davis Hanson takes on Tucker Carlson’s controversial retelling of World War II and his argument that Britain could have avoided war with Nazi Germany.

Hanson argues that Britain’s refusal to surrender or make peace with Hitler was essential to stopping Nazi domination of Europe, and points to Jacob Rees-Mogg’s rebuttal of Carlson as a reminder of what the historical record actually shows.

Victor and Jack Fowler also examine Gavin Newsom’s record in California, from soaring energy and housing costs to failed infrastructure projects and new laws targeting ICE detention facilities and businesses over historic ties to slavery.
