In a late-night Newsmax interview, President Donald Trump made a statement about American weapons that could have serious consequences for Ukraine. And Russia's state media immediately picked up on it.

We examine Trump's exact words, what he actually said about withholding American munitions until U.S. stockpiles are replenished, and why Moscow is paying attention.

Trump did not explicitly announce a cutoff of weapons sales to Ukraine. But his comments raise an urgent question: Is the United States preparing to delay military supplies that Ukraine desperately needs?

RYBAR ARRESTED! I examine the reported detention in Montenegro of Mikhail Zvinchuk, the founder of the pro-war Russian military-blogger network Rybar, along with his wife and three associates. Rybar often supports Russia’s war aims while reporting battlefield weaknesses that the Russian Defense Ministry downplays, including Ukrainian strikes on supply routes serving occupied Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Crimea.

I look at why this case could become a political tug-of-war. Zvinchuk is under UK and EU sanctions and is on a U.S. wanted list tied to alleged election interference. Montenegrin authorities reportedly found drones and digital equipment, but I stress that those reports do not by themselves establish criminal intent; Rybar says the group was filming a monastery and planning a documentary. Montenegro’s prime minister has framed the detention around the country’s European future, while Moscow has demanded answers and Dmitry Medvedev escalated with hostage rhetoric. The central question is whether Montenegro releases Zvinchuk, extradites him, or faces sustained Russian pressure.

HUGE STRIKES LAST NIGHT. I examine the reported overnight Ukrainian strike wave against Russian industrial and logistics targets: FirePoint’s claimed FP-5 Flamingo missile hits on the Volgograd Promkets chemical facility, a fire at Rosneft’s Saratov oil refinery, damage at Saratov’s Ozon logistics hub, and a reported AN-196 Luty strike on the Azot chemical plant in Berezniki, Perm Krai. The strategic question is whether attacks on refining, chemical inputs, warehousing, and air traffic can impose compounding costs on Russia’s war-supporting economy.

I also compare Russian claims of 777 intercepted Ukrainian drones with open-source estimates nearer 320, and assess Russia’s own overnight attack: 161 drones and an S-800 Banderol, according to Ukraine, with deadly consequences in Pavlohrad. President Donald Trump has officially cancelled the controversial livestream expected to show the US Army firing squad execution of Nidal Hassan, the man convicted the 2009 attack on Fort Hood, Texas that killed 13 people and wounded more than 30 others.

Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth had announced the plans for a livestream after President Trump approved his recommendation of the method of execution, the US Army firing squad.

Trump wrote Thursday on Truth Social, in part: "I think streaming the execution for all to see might have been a strong deterrent for the World to witness how America deals with Terrorists and SCUM like Hasan but, many very good and well meaning people would rather not watch him die, through streaming, or through any other visual device. He will die, as scheduled, by firing squad, but this event will not be streamed. That said, the execution may be viewed in person by the immediate families of the victims, if they so choose. They deserve to witness JUSTICE!"

Victor Davis Hanson comments on the rising hostility toward ICE agents after the arrest of Nicholas Matthew Scelfo for threatening an agent’s family, arguing authorities should make examples of such offenders while blue-state politics instead target citizen-journalism.

خلاصه:
دونالد ترامپ می‌گوید جمهوری اسلامی در همه‌جا در حال عقب‌نشینی است و کنترل تنگه هرمز اکنون در دست آمریکاست. او تاکید کرده از آغاز جنگ با جمهوری اسلامی پشیمان نیست و اگر بار دیگر در همان شرایط قرار بگیرد، دقیقا همان تصمیم را خواهد گرفت. ترامپ همچنین مدعی شده توان هسته‌ای حکومت ایران را از بین برده و تهران در دوره ریاست‌جمهوری او هرگز به سلاح هسته‌ای دست نخواهد یافت.
در لبنان، بنیامین نتانیاهو از نابودی تونل‌های علی‌الطاهر خبر داده و آن را بزرگ‌ترین پایگاه جمهوری اسلامی در خارج از ایران توصیف کرده است. ارتش اسرائیل می‌گوید این شبکه زیرزمینی بیش از دو کیلومتر طول داشته و در آن ده‌ها راکت، موشک، پهپاد، مین و مواد منفجره کشف شده است. هم‌زمان رسانه‌های اسرائیلی گزارش داده‌اند که تهران و حزب‌الله هشدار گرفته‌اند هرگونه پاسخ به این عملیات، با حمله‌ای گسترده روبه‌رو خواهد شد. نتانیاهو نیز در پیامی به ترامپ گفته حکومت ایران و نیروهای نیابتی آن ضعیف‌تر از هر زمان دیگری شده‌اند.
آمریکا در دور تازه تحریم‌ها، افراد و شرکت‌های متهم به تامین مالی و پشتیبانی تسلیحاتی از کتائب حزب‌الله عراق و حزب‌الله لبنان را هدف قرار داده است. اسکات بسنت، وزیر خزانه‌داری آمریکا، نیز هشدار داده که واشینگتن یک بانک بزرگ دیگر را به‌دلیل معامله با جمهوری اسلامی تحریم خواهد کرد. در آلمان هم اداره نظارت مالی فدرال اعلام کرده شعبه بانک سپه در فرانکفورت دیگر قادر به پرداخت بدهی‌ها و تعهدات مالی خود نیست و روند ورشکستگی آن آغاز شده است. شورای امنیت سازمان ملل نیز با وجود مخالفت روسیه و چین، به اجرای تحریم‌ها علیه جمهوری اسلامی رای داده است.
در تازه‌ترین تحول منطقه، عربستان سعودی پس از حمله پهپادی از خاک عراق به خط لوله راهبردی شرق به غرب، فعالیت این مسیر انتقال نفت را موقتا متوقف کرده است. این خط لوله ۱۲۰۰ کیلومتری در ماه‌های اخیر روزانه چهار تا پنج میلیون بشکه نفت، معادل چهار تا پنج درصد عرضه جهانی، را به سواحل دریای سرخ منتقل می‌کرد. مقام‌های عراق و عربستان منشأ حمله را خاک عراق اعلام کرده‌اند و فرمانده عملیات نظامی استان میسان، منطقه‌ای هم‌مرز با ایران و محل نفوذ شبه‌نظامیان مورد حمایت جمهوری اسلامی، از سمت خود برکنار شده است. هنوز هیچ گروهی مسئولیت حمله را نپذیرفته، اما عربستان حق اقدام برای حفاظت از منافع خود را محفوظ دانسته است.
هم‌زمان حوثی‌ها با تصرف شهر ساحلی ذوباب و جزیره راهبردی پریم به تنگه باب‌المندب رسیده‌اند. اختلال در خط لوله عربستان، کاهش رفت‌وآمد نفتکش‌ها از تنگه هرمز و افزایش نگرانی‌ها درباره امنیت باب‌المندب، قیمت جهانی نفت را بار دیگر به بیش از ۱۰۰ دلار رسانده است.
فشار فقط به مسیرهای دریایی محدود نمانده و مرزهای زمینی ایران نیز یکی پس از دیگری در حال قفل‌شدن هستند. کامیون‌های ایرانی در مرز افغانستان تا ۱۵ روز، در مرز بازرگان تا ۲۵ روز و در مرز خسروی چندین روز متوقف مانده‌اند. مسیرهای پاکستان نیز بسته شده و پس از حمله به خط لوله عربستان، گذرگاه شلمچه تعطیل و در گذرگاه‌های الشیب، زرباطیه و المنذریه محدودیت‌هایی اعمال شده است. پروازهای میان بصره و ایران هم تا اطلاع ثانوی متوقف شده‌اند.
در نتیجه، جمهوری اسلامی هم‌زمان از دریا و زمین زیر فشار قرار گرفته است. از کاهش تردد در تنگه هرمز و پیشروی حوثی‌ها در باب‌المندب تا بسته‌شدن مرزهای افغانستان، پاکستان، ترکیه و عراق، حلقه محاصره اقتصادی تنگ‌تر شده است. توقف کامیون‌ها، افزایش بیش از ۵۰ درصدی هزینه تجارت در برخی مسیرها، از دست رفتن بازارهای صادراتی و محدودشدن راه‌های انتقال کالا، تصویری از فشار فزاینده بر شبکه تجاری و منطقه‌ای جمهوری اسلامی ارائه می‌دهد.
