Duane “Keffe D” Davis, who is accused of orchestrating the 1996 murder of rap icon Tupac Shakur, is scheduled to go on trial in Las Vegas Monday, August 10.

Prosecutors accuse Davis of ordering the fatal shooting as retaliation for a brawl that broke out on a casino floor shortly before Shakur was killed.

Authorities have also pointed to comments Davis made in several media interviews as evidence of his alleged involvement in the killing.

The filing identifies more than 200 potential witnesses. Some notable names listed are:

Marion "Suge" Knight: Former Death Row Records CEO. He was in the passenger seat of the car the night Shakur was shot in Las Vegas.
Former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman
Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo: Served in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department at the time.
Former LAPD Detective Greg Kading: Claims Davis confessed to his involvement during a 2009 interview with law enforcement.
Several family members of Shakur

The conflict between the U.S. and Iran reaches a critical flashpoint as target warnings focus on Iran’s heavily fortified underground facility at Pickaxe Mountain. Buried deep beneath solid granite rock south of Natanz, Israeli and U.S. intelligence reports indicate Iran transferred hundreds of advanced centrifuges into the subterranean tunnel system, sparking imminent strike warnings. At the same time, the maritime standoff across the Strait of Hormuz intensifies. As CENTCOM enforces naval interdiction operations along Iranian ports, retaliatory drone strikes against commercial shipping and regional infrastructure threaten to expand the war across the Persian Gulf. Most countries in the Middle East are now involved and forming alliances on how to confront this ultimate Islamic Republic threat. In this stream, we break down the military geography, target parameters, internal politics of Iran and the Middle East, and strategic chokepoint maneuvers defining the last 24 hours for Iran, U.S, Iraq, Israel, and the Persian Gulf.

On the negotiation front, Iran and Oman finalized geographic coordinates for a Strait of Hormuz route draft, but the U.S. warns military force is ready if Tehran blocks the waterway. Meanwhile, Donald Trump may be looking to replace the old global order of open shipping with an America-led system. On the water, ships continue to be hit across both the Strait of Hormuz and the Bab-el-Mandeb. Air defense networks in Israel are on high alert as strikes resumed in southern Lebanon last night. Across the Middle East, IRGC-backed proxy groups in Iraq, Lebanon, and Yemen are taking heavy losses and breaking down. On this stream, we explain how a brutal wave of executions is sparking a massive uprising among the already pressured Iranian People. Join us live for this breaking A2 Analysis broadcast as we break down the ultimatum, the Hormuz coordinates, and what happens next.

President Donald Trump is touting the impact of U.S. and allied military strikes against Iran, claiming the attacks have ended the regime’s nuclear ambitions. Speaking to supporters, Trump declared, “We’re knocking the shit out of them,” saying the bombardments destroyed key weapons facilities, weakened Iran’s air defenses and eliminated its ability to develop nuclear weapons.

President Donald Trump has officially cancelled the controversial livestream expected to show the US Army firing squad execution of Nidal Hassan, the man convicted the 2009 attack on Fort Hood, Texas that killed 13 people and wounded more than 30 others.

Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth had announced the plans for a livestream after President Trump approved his recommendation of the method of execution, the US Army firing squad.

Trump wrote Thursday on Truth Social, in part: "I think streaming the execution for all to see might have been a strong deterrent for the World to witness how America deals with Terrorists and SCUM like Hasan but, many very good and well meaning people would rather not watch him die, through streaming, or through any other visual device. He will die, as scheduled, by firing squad, but this event will not be streamed. That said, the execution may be viewed in person by the immediate families of the victims, if they so choose. They deserve to witness JUSTICE!"

Victor Davis Hanson comments on the rising hostility toward ICE agents after the arrest of Nicholas Matthew Scelfo for threatening an agent’s family, arguing authorities should make examples of such offenders while blue-state politics instead target citizen-journalism.

Hanson portrays anti-ICE protests as an elitist class phenomenon that harms working-class communities and ties it to broader DEI-driven cultural and institutional decay, including politicized pro sports and coarsening public behavior.

The episode highlights California’s AB 2624 (“Stop Nick Shirley Act”) as a retaliatory, constitutionally suspect effort to deter filming of nonprofit employees tied to illegal-immigrant services and alleged fraud exposure.

Hanson also warns about tribalism, immigration-driven integration failures, UK policing distortions, and breakdowns in public order.
