President Donald Trump said Monday that he is "looking at" firing U.S. Ambassador to Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle after various reports alleging she engaged in improper and potentially illegal conduct before and during her tenure in Athens. "We're not happy," Trump added.

Earlier this month, The Wall Street Journal reported — referencing text messages — that Guilfoyle asked a Trump donor and supporter to pay a $100,000 credit card bill just before her confirmation hearing, promising him access to administration officials if he did.

Guilfoyle has not addressed the reports directly, but in a statement released late Sunday obtained by The Associated Press, her attorneys denied any wrongdoing by Guilfoyle and alleged that the money she was requesting from the Trump donor was payment for services like public appearances and speaking engagements that predate her ambassadorial nomination that had not been paid.

Zelenskyy isn’t guessing anymore — he is openly telling Moscow, Belarus, and the world that Ukraine knows exactly what Putin is trying to protect.

In this update, Greg breaks down Zelenskyy’s warning that Russia is pulling air defense systems toward Moscow, Valdai, and the Kerch Strait while Ukraine continues targeting the rear of Russia’s war machine. We also cover Russia’s growing fuel crisis, Ukraine’s strike campaign against Crimea’s bridges and logistics routes, Lukashenko’s dangerous Belarus message, and Marco Rubio’s admission that Alaska was never an agreement — only a proposal made without Ukraine at the table.

From Crimea to Belarus to Washington, the pressure around Putin’s war strategy is building — and Ukraine is making clear it is watching every move.

President Trump has issued a severe new ultimatum to the clerical establishment through diplomatic channels in Pakistan, setting a strict deadline for the regime as regional tensions reach a breaking point.

Inside Iran, the clerical establishment is desperately struggling to manage a collapsing economy and shifting military realities, even as the Iranian People endure a brutal convergence of crises. Decades of severe international sanctions combined with catastrophic domestic mismanagement, corruption, and the diversion of billions into regional proxy wars and the nuclear program have left the rial virtually worthless, making basic food staples, medicine, and housing entirely unaffordable for millions of working-class families. Despite sitting on massive hydrocarbon reserves, the population routinely faces systemic power grid failures, rolling blackouts, and critical fuel shortages that leave hospitals and basic infrastructure struggling to function and directly endanger civilian lives. Furthermore, years of disastrous dam projects, government corruption, and acute mismanagement of water resources have triggered severe droughts across multiple provinces, destroying traditional agriculture, drying up historic water sources, and displacing rural populations into impoverished urban fringes. Finally, civil liberties have been systematically eradicated, where peaceful protests over economic conditions or basic human rights are met with violent crackdowns by security apparatuses, mass arrests, and harsh judicial sentences, trapping the populace under an atmosphere of constant surveillance and state intimidation.

This expanding conflict is rippling across neighboring flashpoints, drawing in security spillover from Iraq and Israel while testing the endurance of Saudi Arabia and the IRGC.

Join us live on A2 Analysis as we break down Trump's ultimatum through Pakistan, the systemic crumbling of the Islamic Republic, the profound suffering of the Iranian people, and the ultimate fight for the region.

I examine reports that SpaceX’s military-grade Starshield network imposed in-motion speed restrictions over Ukraine on October 13–14, reportedly disrupting drone interception and strike missions during continuing Russian attacks. Ukrainian officials said the restrictions reduced connectivity for fast-moving systems; civilian Starlink service was later restored to speeds of up to 160 kilometers per hour, while questions remained over Starshield’s limits.

I separate the available evidence from the claims surrounding responsibility. Elon Musk said Starshield is owned and controlled by the U.S. government, with limits decided by the military and ultimately the president. Reuters reporting cited U.S. officials who said the directive came from inside the White House, while another official said President Trump did not personally request it. I also assess calls by a bipartisan group of senators for a Pentagon inspector general investigation, and why Europe’s inability to rapidly replace Starlink capability raises major operational and alliance stakes for Ukraine.

CLIP DESCRIPTION:
When the band performs for the first time with Guy (Tom Everett Scott) on drums, he plays at a faster tempo, which gets the crowd dancing along.

FILM DESCRIPTION:
Tom Hanks made his directorial debut in this bright comedy set in the mid-1960's about a rock group and their brief fling with fame. Guy Patterson (Tom Everett Scott) works as a salesman at his father's appliance store and plays the drums in his spare time, fancying himself a jazz musician. One day, a buddy of Guy's tells him a local rock band, The One-Ders (it's pronounced "wonders"), are in need of a drummer -- they have Battle of the Bands coming up and their usual timekeeper has broken his arm. Guy agrees to sit in, but when it's time to play their best original, a love ballad called "That Thing You Do," Guy lays in a sharp, driving beat that turns the tune into an uptempo pop-rocker. Lead singer Jimmy (Johnathon Schaech) isn't happy at first, but guitarist Lenny (Steve Zahn) and the nameless Bass Player (Ethan Embry) think the song sounds better that way -- and they notice the girls like it just fine. Soon people are actually requesting the song at their shows, and the One-Ders scrape together some money to press a single of "That Thing You Do" to sell between sets. A DJ puts the song on the radio, and opportunity knocks in the form of Mr. White (Tom Hanks), who works for the very major Play-Tone Records label. Play-Tone buys the rights to "That Thing You Do" and puts the band on the road as their song makes it way to the top of the national charts. But what can The Wonders (as Play-Tone have re-named them) do for an encore? And what should Guy do about his infatuation with Jimmy's girlfriend, Faye (Liv Tyler)? Real-life 60's obsessed rocker Chris Isaak has a small part as a recording engineer, and fans of real 60's garage bands will appreciate the wealth of small, accurately observed details (for example, halfway through the film, when a few "That Thing You Do" royalty checks have presumably kicked in, the band's inexpensive Danelectro guitars disappear and the Wonders are suddenly playing on brand new Fender gear -- the height of rock style in 1965).
